infrequent travelers are more likely to get more total rewards from a cash-back card with no annual fee. Cash back is simpler and more flexible. Some travel cards allow you to redeem your rewards only for travel. Others give you poor value unless you redeem for travel.
So I was visiting New York from California and went shopping and my card got declined and temporary locked out all bc I forgot to notify my bank! Was pretty embarrassing and took time to fix. After that I looked into cards that are easier to deal w and found some good offers for traveling at the same time.
I’m traveling w my new girlfriend and def don’t want to come across any hiccups. I also want to get some reward system for the spending I’ll be doing in flights and hotels which I hear credit cards companies can help with
I have been using reward points and have gotten a few free miles on flights and it’s definitelyyyyy helped w restaurants. I don’t rely on my points but it has proven helpful at times
People dont realize that this is actually part of your vacation preparation!
